Bench Hunt Challenge

The Nashoba Conservation Trust (NCT) is inviting families, individuals, and small groups to participate in a fun contest designed to encourage people to visit and explore many of the beautiful and unique conservation properties within Pepperell. This contest is open to everyone, and not limited to Pepperell residents or NCT members. Prizes will be awarded. If you have been wanting to get out and explore more of Pepperell’s wonderful conservation lands, now’s the time to begin!

Basic Rules

You can register as an individual, family, or small group (ex. a group of friends), formal organizations are not allowed.

Visit the NCT and other Pepperell conservation parcels between now and August 31, 2023. See below for list of eligible parcels and some helpful hints.

Take an image of yourself, your family, or group on or beside as many benches as you can find. (At least part of the bench must be visible within the image) Smiles and scenic/fun/goofy images are encouraged and prizes may be given for the best images.

By August 31, email a document that includes all your bench images labeled with their location and your name and contact information to: contact@nashobatrust.org

Only single documents will be accepted, i.e. do not submit separate images. (One method is to paste your images into a single Word document).

Everyone who registers and submits images will get a prize, the list of prizes appears below Check back later as we continue to add prizes. All prizes will be awarded.

The prizes will be awarded to the family/individual/groups that submit the greatest number of bench images according to the rules. In the case of a tie, a drawing will determine prize winners.

Prize winners will be determined in September. Winners will be contacted via email and the list will be posted on the Nashoba Conservation Trust website (Nashobatrust.org).
