Bee/insect Walk

Seminatore Woods Pollinator Meadow

Participants will meet at the trailhead on Pond Circle (off Village Road) Saturday July 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.

The main focus of this walk will be on seeing bees and other insects up close and learning about their fascinating behavior and ecology. We will be taking the short, level 1/4 mile woods trail to reach the meadow, and then leisurely walking the short loop trail through the meadow. Although it is very unlikely that anyone will be stung, as in any summer outdoor activity there is always a possibility, so those individuals who have allergies to bee/wasp stings should take precautions. The duration will be approx. 1-1.5 hrs (including the walk in/out), but participants can leave at any time.
